All Registered Girl Scouts and all Levels. Daisy through Ambassadors.
WHEN CAN I JOIN THE PEN PAL PROJECT?
We start sharing the Questionnaire Link in October, Pairing in November and Starts in December till June.
CAN YOU JOIN ANYTIME AFTER DECEMBER?
You are welcome to ask or join, we just can guarantee that we may have a Pen Pal for you. After March, we request that you wait till December.
IS THERE A FEE TO JOIN?
No, there isn't a fee but commit to write 2 letters a month.
HOW MANY LETTERS DO YOU NEED TO SEND YOUR PEN PAL?
We ask that you send 2 letters/postcard/packages to your Pen Pal, which is a total of 14 Letters total.
WHAT ARE MONTHLY SURVEYS?
A monthly survey is a requirement and is needed at the 1st day of each month, starting January. If surveys aren't done, we will contact you, but if no response, we will remove your Pen Pal from the program.
CAN WE CHOOSE WHICH PEN PAL TO WRITE TOO?
We ask that everyone fill out the questionnaire and we will pair up every Girl Scout by similar likes, such as music or grade levels.
CAN YOU CHOOSE A PEN PAL FROM A DIFFERENT COUNTRY?
Choosing a Girl Scout from a different Country may be a little more challenging. We are going to seek additional Girl Guides that are stationed overseas. More details coming soon.
